Liverpool: Fans show concern towards Trent Alexander-Arnold after another stalemate

Plenty of Liverpool fans were not impressed with right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold following his side’s 0-0 draw against Manchester United.

The Reds failed to leapfrog their arch-rivals in the Premier League table as both sides failed to break each other down at Anfield, with the visitors arguably having the best chances of the affair.

The 22-year-old started typically on the right-hand side of the defence and looked to be a bit careless with possession on the night.

Per Sofascore, Alexander-Arnold lost the ball 27 times, did not complete a single cross out of 10 that were attempted and failed to make any key passes.

With this in mind, supporters were not happy with Alexander-Arnold, with some believing that it may be time to worry about the Englishman’s current form.

Fans frustrated with Alexander-Arnold

“I’ve resigned myself to the fact that there will be no trophy coming to Anfield this season. Attack has imploded. Trent awful. No centre-halves. No midfield as a result. But Klopp remains resolute that a centre half is not needed. Daft and irresponsible. #LFC”
