Liverpool: Jordan Henderson leaves three-word message on Instagram about his fitness

Liverpool could have done with captain Jordan Henderson during their defeat to Atalanta.
Henderson returns
Jurgen Klopp’s side have been hit hard with injury woes this season, particularly in defence, where the likes of Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez have both been ruled out due to serious knee injuries.
Henderson picked up a muscle issue against Chelsea earlier in the campaign and was substituted during England’s Nations League clash versus Belgium earlier this month.
The Englishman has not featured for Jurgen Klopp’s side in the league since their 1-1 draw away to Manchester City. Despite this, he revealed some good news on Instagram for the supporters on the back of what has seemed like a neverending cycle of fitness setbacks.

Short, but sweet. Henderson’s return to first-team training will no doubt boost his teammates, with an important game tomorrow lunchtime away to Brighton, to who well-respected journalist Henry Winter described him as the club’s “beacon of hope” (via the club’s official website).
Transfer Tavern Verdict
This will delight Liverpool fans. He is a player that they could have done with on Wednesday and will be welcomed back with open arms.
With Thiago Alcantara still not fully match fit and Fabinho looking like he will drop back to centre-back, Henderson will be key in the midfield.
Despite the quick turnaround, Liverpool will be wanting to right the wrong from their midweek woes and get back to winning ways in the Premier League.
And in other news, Liverpool fans react jubilantly to official statement concerning Jurgen Klopp’s key assets.
