According to a report by CaughtOffside journalist Leah Smith, Liverpool have already completed the signing of RB Leipzig defender Ibrahima Konate and it will be made ‘official’ in May – prompting plenty of Reds to go wild in response.
Konate has been eyed by Liverpool for the past few months, with reliable reporters such as Christian Falk explaining that he is indeed on Jurgen Klopp and FSG’s radar heading into the summer.

Now, in the latest development, CaughtOffside journalist Smith has provided a pretty seismic update – claiming that the signing is already agreed and will be made official on May 1.
The reporter also cites a figure of £32 million for Konate, leaving many Liverpool fans to buzz over the news after a whirlwind last few days dominated by the European Super League saga.
