A number of Liverpool supporters are fuming after journalist David Lynch claimed that the Reds won't sign anyone in the January transfer window.

Jurgen Klopp's side drew 2-2 away to Chelsea on Sunday afternoon as a memorable Premier League encounter played out at Stamford Bridge.

Liverpool blew a two-goal lead in west London, and while the result was still far from terrible, more valuable ground was lost to Manchester City in the title race.

Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Naby Keita will now all depart for the Africa Cup of Nations, potentially heightening the need for new signings to be made.

That doesn't appear to be the case, however, with Lynch telling Anfield Watch [via LFC Transfer Room on Twitter] that the Reds are 'pretty adamant'  that signings won't be made this month.
