Divock Origi has been linked with a summer move to Borussia Dortmund and Fiorentina, with his future looking increasingly likely to be away from Liverpool.

The 25-year-old has had a curious Reds career in many ways, often flattering to deceive but also delivering some truly iconic moments.

Origi scored huge goals against the likes of Tottenham, Barcelona, Everton and Newcastle United back in 2018/19, forever etching his name into Liverpool folklore.

The Belgian has done very little since, however, not creating a single big chance for teammates in the league this season and only scoring once, in all competitions.

Dortmund and Fiorentina keen on Origi

Origi will likely leave Liverpool at the end of the season, and according to Calciomercato [via Sport Witness], Dortmund and Fiorentina are both eyeing up a move for him.

The two European clubs have reportedly ‘set their sights' on the forward, who has scored three goals in 29 appearances for Belgium.

It is stated that Origi is 'coming out of Liverpool', further suggesting he is now in his final few months as a Reds player.

Transfer Tavern take

Origi will always be remembered fondly for what he achieved in that memorable season, but he is no longer at the required level.

He blunts Liverpool's attack too often when he plays and his poor goal return this season is proof of his shortcomings, even if he hasn't played a huge amount football.
