Liverpool: Fans laud transfer target Perr Schuurs after impressive Ajax display
Lots of Liverpool fans have been lauding Perr Schuurs after his very impressive display for Ajax at Anfield in the UEFA Champions League.
The Netherlands U21 international gave Sadio Mane in particular a torrid time, using his pace and strength to get the better of him on numerous occasions in the game, particularly in the first half.

It showed in the numbers too, with Mane losing out in seven of his duels while Schuurs won five of his, with the latter also recording no fewer than five clearances, three tackles, two blocked shots and one interception in the match (Sofascore).
The 21 year-old has recently been linked with a move to Jurgen Klopp’s team in the January transfer window as a possible replacement for Virgil Van Dijk following the central defender’s knee injury, which has ruled him out for several months.
If Schuurs keeps on putting in performances like these, then the Reds may have to seriously think about snapping him up.
