Liverpool: Fans react as FSG refuse to meet Ismaila Sarr asking price

Many Liverpool fans have been reacting to claims made by the agent of Watford winger Ismaila Sarr regarding his alleged move to Anfield.
The 22-year-old was heavily linked with a move to Anfield last summer but the Reds opted to go with Wolves attacker Diogo Jota instead, in a deal that could end up being worth £45m.
But according to Thierno Seydi, Sarr’s representative, personal terms had been agreed with Jurgen Klopp’s side. But the owners Fenway Sports Group (FSG) would not meet the €40m (£35m) asking price for his client.
Sarr scored a brace against the Merseysiders last season during their 3-0 defeat at Vicarage Road where the Senegalese trickster was the star of the show, and it appears Liverpool’s second bite of the cherry went under the radar.
Would Ismaila Sarr suit Jurgen Klopp's team?
Yes

No

Despite this, supporters were relieved that they did not secure Sarr’s services, on the back of scoring just five goals and providing two assists from 24 appearances (Whoscored).
