A number of Liverpool supporters have been reacting negatively to claims that the Reds are dealing with Mino Raiola over the potential signing of Donyell Malen.

This could be a busy summer transfer window for Jurgen Klopp, as he looks to bolster his squad across various areas of the pitch and offload some 'deadwood'.

Ibrahima Konate has already arrived from RB Leipzig, hopefully easing Liverpool's centre-back issues, and another attacking wide player could also come in.

Klopp may already have a number of top-class players in the final third, but bringing in a younger alternative to the likes of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane wouldn't go amiss, especially as the pair will be absent for AFCON 2022 at the turn of the year.

PSV Eindhoven and Netherlands star Malen is one player who has been linked with a move and journalist Fabrizio Romano has now given an update on his future.

Speaking on Twitch [via LFC Transfer Room on Twitter], he claimed the Reds are in negotiations with controversial agent Raiola over a move, with Borussia Dortmund also in the picture.

"For Malen, as much as I want him, I can't see him joining Liverpool tho due to his connection with Raiola. I believe that Klopp and Raiola aren't on good terms thus explaining why the move seems unrealistic"
