Liverpool are interested in signing Sparta Prague attacking sensation Adam Hlozek in the summer transfer window, according to a fresh report.

The Lowdown: Hlozek in sensational form

The 18-year-old caught the eye with some devastating performances last season, scoring 15 goals in just 18 starts in the Czech First League.

Not only that, but he bagged four times in the space of only 23 minutes against FC Zbrojovka Brno last month, highlighting his simply remarkable prowess in front of goal.

West Ham have been linked with a summer move for Hlozek, but an update on his situation looks positive from a Liverpool perspective.

The Latest: Liverpool interested in move

As per Football Insider, the Reds are keen on bringing the teenager to Anfield, showing 'big interest' in the attacking starlet according to a recruitment source.

AC Milan are also mentioned as potential suitors for Hlozek, with Liverpool needing to pay between £15million-£20million for his services.

The Verdict: Hugely exciting talent

Hlozek looks a player of immense promise, already achieving so much for Sparta, despite his tender years.

Jurgen Klopp needs to be planning for the future at Liverpool, and while it is painful to admit it, Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino will need to be replaced at some point. All three are now 29 years of age.

Hlozek may not be ready for the first XI yet given he would be arriving from a much inferior league, but perhaps he could be a long-term replacement for Firmino, maturing into an even more formidable player as his all-round game improves with age, becoming an eventual hero on Merseyside.
