A number of Liverpool fans have praised Jurgen Klopp in response to a “class act” from the manager.
The 53-year-old has already stitched himself into the Anfield fabric after winning the Champions League and the Premier League in the space of 13 months, ending the club’s 30-year wait for a domestic title.

Before that silverware was delivered, though, there was a sad backdrop to Liverpool’s Champions League semi-final win over Roma at Anfield in April 2018.
Liverpool supporter Sean Cox was left with brain injuries after being attacked by Roma fan Simone Mastrelli, who was subsequently jailed for his actions of grievous bodily harm, leaving the Irishman unable to communicate (via BBC).
Speaking with Today FM, Klopp joined the Irish radio station to speak with Cox, who enthusiastically put his thumbs up when they spoke for the first time.

Unsurprisingly, many Liverpool fans poured their hearts out on social media in respect to both Klopp and Cox over their heartfelt exchange.
