The Southampton defender is someone who is on the radar of both Manchester United and Chelsea, not to mention the fact that he is a Southampton player, and we know that Brendan Rodgers loves those – but as one of our punters notes over a beer and burger by the bar, looking elsewhere might be a better idea for the club.
The Reds are desperate for a young right back after the departure of Glen Johnson and it seems that their scouting side have decided Clyne is their man – but they certainly face a fight for him.
