Liverpool fans at the pool table in the Transfer Tavern are reacting to reports of who Jurgen Klopp has identified as his prime transfer target for 2016.
Portuguese outlet A Bola claim Barcelona prodigy Cristian Tello tops Liverpool’s wish-list for the end of the season, with the young Spaniard expected to leave the Nou Camp next summer.
The 24-year-old is currently on-loan with Porto due to a lack of playing time in Catalonia but has struggled to find form at his temporary club, yet to find the net in eight appearances.
However, Tello is rated very highly due to positive displays he has put in during his previous first-team exploits with Barcelona and is now keen to move in order to achieve regular football and live-up to the lofty expectations for the talented winger.
Liverpool’s attack has come under criticism at times this season, especially after six consecutive draws in all competitions just a week ago, but victories over Bournemouth and Chelsea have relieved the pressure on the strike-force.
Nevertheless, fans at the bar expect Jurgen Klopp to spend money in this area during his first summer in charge- and Tello could be a prime addition.
Liverpool fans, would you be happy with the purchase of Cristian Tello? Let us know in the comments below!
