Former Premier League midfielder Michael Brown believes Divock Origi should look for a new club due to his limited playing time at Anfield.
Origi in the spotlight
The 25-year-old has found himself ostracised from Jurgen Klopp’s side and is yet to start a Premier League game this season, despite starting three matches in the Champions League (Whoscored).
New signing Diogo Jota has stolen the headlines after a blistering start to life on Merseyside, with ESPN reporting that the Reds would be open to offers for Origi.

Speaking with Football Insider, Brown believes Origi should move on as opposed to being a fringe player on Merseyside.
“He’s had such a taste of it, hasn’t he? He’s had a taste for it, of big things, big nights, scoring goals, critical goals,” he said.
“He’ll want to have that so it’s only for so long can you sit there and just be a bit-part player and ultimately it will come to that.
“You could say well, we’ve seen super subs at the likes of Manchester United, for instance, over the years, someone was happy doing that and coming on but there’s not many who can do that.”
Transfer Tavern Verdict
It’s difficult to argue with Brown’s points, as it looks unlikely that Origi will be consistently be playing first-team football at Liverpool anytime soon.
With the European Championships on the horizon with Belgium next summer, the £49.5k-a-week striker (Spotrac) will be wanting to represent his country once more in a major competition.
Because of this, the club should part ways with Origi and the player should embark on a new challenge with his international future at stake.
