Of all the teams top of their respective leagues, none have had as fun a season as Luton Town have.
The Hatters sit comfortably on top of the League One table by eight points with five games to go, and their incredible form during their record-breaking season hasn’t gone unnoticed.
On Sunday night the EFL hosted their annual end of season awards show, with Luton duo James Justin and James Collins both up for big awards on the night.
Although Justin was unable to claim Young Player of the Season, going to former academy product Max Aarons, the Hatters’ 20-goal striker Collins was voted League one Player of the Season, beating out the likes of fellow Irishman Aiden McGeady and Doncaster Rovers striker John Marquis for the award.
