Fans from across the Premier League have gathered in the Transfer Tavern today to discuss the latest reports linking a world-class manager with a switch to England.
The Sun state Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea want to lure Pep Guardiola to the Premier League, with the English trio hoping that the renowned manager doesn’t extend his deal with Bayern Munich.
Guardiola’s current deal in Bavaria expires at the end of the season and there’s question marks as to whether the former Barcelona man will remain in the Bundesliga or target a new challenge elsewhere; which would likely see the Catalan come to England.
Should Guardiola become available then it seems a free-for-all for his services would begin, with a number of the top-sides in European football potentially likely to want to bring the 44-year-old to their club.
United fans believe they possess the best chance of securing the renowned boss but other fans don’t agree, believing the Manchester City project is best for him.
