Manchester United fans in the Football Transfer Tavern could for once be close to finally getting some luck in the transfer window

Countless times this season, United fans have stepped foot into the tavern with a glum look on their face as they discover that they have missed out on yet another target.
But now United fans have learnt that they could have a free pass to sign a midfielder who has scored 11 goals so far this season whilst providing 14 assists.
The 23-year-old, who didn’t get a look in at Chelsea, chose to prove himself to the world again by joining the German side and now he is has been rewarded with interest from clubs such as United.
Sadly though for the Bundesliga side, Wolfsburg’s sporting director Klaus Allofs has conceded that if they fail to maintain their second-placed position in the league then it will be tough to keep hold of De Bruyne.
“It is possible that we would have to part with him [de Bruyne] if we didn’t have Champions League football, but anyone who does want him would have to dig deep into their pockets to satisfy our demands,” added Allofs.
