de gea2Manchester United fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are distraught after The Mirror explained how Manchester United will have to include buy-out clause in any new deal David De Gea receives.

The Spanish number one is set to become the best paid keeper in football as there is currently talk of a £200,000-a-week salary being lined up.

But despite the huge weekly wage, his advisors insist that there is an escape clause for the Red Devils’ standout performer this season.

He currently has 17 months remaining on his current deal and the officials at Old Trafford are desperate for him to sign a new deal after strong rumours linked him with a move to Real Madrid.

Many believe that Madrid will continue to fight for their man and if a buy-out clause is made public, it will play into the hands of the Spanish giants.

Carlo Ancelotti sees De Gea as the perfect long-term replacement for Iker Casillas and many feel that Los Blancos feel obliged to have the Spanish number one at their club.
