Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern are sobbing into their napkins after hearing the transfer they’re all dreaming about will not go ahead.
With reports coming in from Spanish media outlet Marca, it’s once again been stated that Cristiano Ronaldo will end his career at Real Madrid– though agent Jorge Mendes admitted his client loves Manchester United.
The super-agent of Ronaldo, who also represents under-fire Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho, gave hints towards the Portuguese international’s future during the premiere of Ronaldo’s new movie on his life.
The news comes as a blow to United fans, who have long wanted Ronaldo to return to Old Trafford, whilst it also hands a severe blow to Paris Saint-Germain and numerous MLS franchises, who are also seeking the signature of the multiple-time Ballon D’Or winner.
