Manchester City fans in the Football Transfer Tavern have brought a buzz into the building, with the Daily Mail suggesting that Manuel Pellegrini is setting aside £100 million for Barcelona star Luis Suarez.
The former Liverpool hitman impressed against the Citizens earlier this week after scoring the two vital goals in Barca’s 2-1 win at the Etihad in the Champions League.
The Uruguayan international reminded the Manchester club of his talent after it wasn’t long ago when he was scoring goals for fun in front of the Kop.
City hope that they can make an escape route for the convicted biter as reports have suggested that he has not settled into life at Spain and has struggled not being the main man.
But if they have any hope of signing the man who ended England’s dreams at World Cup then they will have to consider losing club legend Sergio Aguero.
