Tottenham fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are nervous heading into the summer after the Daily Mirror revealed that Atletico Madrid are targeting Danny Rose in the up and coming window.
The Spurs full-back has had another impressive season and Diego Simeone has had the Yorkshireman scouted on several occasions, which has led to some glowing reports.
But City are also interested in the 24-year-old and it is believed he will be available for around £14m.
Manuel Pellegrini has identified the left back area as a top priority in the summer as he looks to replace either Gael Clichy or Aleksandar Kolarov.
And Spurs will be open to selling Rose only if it is for the right price because they have Ben Davies waiting to step into the first team after they signed him from Swansea.
Atleti are also pursuing Filipe Luis after they sold him to Chelsea last summer and it is believed Simeone will settle for one or the other.

Really?
Ok it’s the end of the season and all but relegation is sorted.. But really?
Do you have nothing better to make up than this?
Thought politicians made up enough bull.
Are you having a laugh?
Why on earth would Spurs sell the first decent left back they have had in many years?
Davies has a long way to go to get anywhere near as good as Rose.
Davies was at fault for BOTH Southampton’s goals in his (thankfully) last gamethisseason.
