Manchester United and Liverpool fans here in the Football Transfer Tavern are optimistic after hearing from the Spanish publication ‘Sport‘, that the Premier League duo are planning a summer move for Barcelona full-back Dani Alves.
Alves, 31, is a name that has been thrown around a lot in recent seasons in the Transfer Tavern, with him always being touted with a move away from Barcelona, but never actually leaving.
This summer could be the one where he leaves though, with a plethora of top European clubs vying for the Brazilian defender’s signature, including the likes of Paris Saint Germain, Borussia Dortmund, Juventus and Inter Milan.
Alves has gone on to become one of the world’s best right-backs during his time at the Nou Camp, but it might finally be time for him to move on.
