It seems all about Manchester United here in the Football Transfer Tavern and today it is no different as the Daily Express claim the club have been handed a boost in their race for Marseille forward Andre Ayew.
The Ghanaian international forward has more than opened the door for a move to the Premier League after he claimed that: “The club have made it clear if they receive a good offer they will listen to that – but I will not go just to please the club.
“I will go to a club that want to win trophies.
“But now I want to finish the season well with Marseille and qualify for the Champions League.”
United seem to be after everyone at the minute and given the form the 23-year-old has been in this season, it is no surprise that Sir Alex Ferguson has placed the forward on his radar. Arsene Wenger has previously made a bid for the forward back in 2010 when a £5 million approach from the North London side was turned down by the Mediterranean giants.
Fergie has also been linked with a move for Atletico Madrid’s outstanding Radamel Falcao today in what seems to be a topic that has whipped up quite a storm by the bar and it seems that the discussions surrounding the Colombian will run and run.
