Manchester United are once again expected to be among the Premier League’s busiest clubs this summer.
Following the departures of Casemiro and several other first-team players, Ruben Amorim has already begun reshaping his squad.
Midfield reinforcements are on the way in the form of Youri Tielemans and Andrey Santos, with the pair set to arrive for a combined fee of around £82 million.
Now, United appear to be targeting further additions in attack, with one World Cup star emerging as a potential successor to Marcus Rashford.
Man Utd Interested in Summerville
According to The Guardian, Manchester United will step up their interest in West Ham United winger Crysencio Summerville if Marcus Rashford leaves Old Trafford this summer.
The Dutch international, who has been described as “incredible” by former Hammer Kevin Nolan, is viewed by United as an ideal fit on the left flank and a player capable of directly replacing Rashford.
West Ham are reportedly willing to sell the 24-year-old following their relegation to the Championship, provided their valuation of around £30 million is met.
Summerville also enhanced his reputation at the 2026 World Cup with the Netherlands, further increasing interest in his services ahead of the new campaign.
Much will depend on Rashford’s future. After loan spells at Aston Villa and Barcelona, the England international is expected to return to United for pre-season, but the club would still prefer to sanction a permanent sale or another loan if a suitable offer arrives.
Should Rashford depart, Summerville is understood to be one of the leading names on United’s shortlist as they continue rebuilding their attack.
