Manchester United fans in the Football Transfer Tavern hope they can capitalise on the mess at Borussia Dortmund after talkSPORT revealed they have submitted an offer of £21.5m for Mats Hummels.
Their defensive rock has previously insisted that he is happy at the German side but things may have changed now that Jurgen Klopp has said he will leave in the summer.
This decision by Klopp may have put Hummels’ future into perspective and the World Cup winner may opt to leave the Westfalenstadion with his future at the forefront of his decision.
Because now he may feel as though Dortmund’s chances of winning silverware is unlikely as the club could go into decline.
The turmoil at Dortmund could push the 26-year-old out of the club and United will hope the recent news surrounding Klopp will allow them to sign their long-term target!
