Manchester United fans in the Football Transfer Tavern don’t know where they stand as the Daily Mirror revealed that Mats Hummels is preparing his exit from Borussia Dortmund.
The World Cup winner has supposedly told his Germany teammates, during the international break, that a move to Old Trafford is on the verge of being completed.
He has been heavily linked with a move to United over the past few years but it was only a couple of days ago where he denying rumours of him promising to join Manchester United.
But now the 26-year-old is open to a move abroad and believes it could be what is needed to take his career to the next level.
The experienced defender is expected to cost £35m but if Louis van Gaal was to land him it would be a big boost to strengthen their defence!
