Louis van Gaal is looking for a mega signing to really rally all the United fans as there are still some who are unconvinced with his management despite the recent form.
Ronaldo would certainly bring the life back to the Theatre of Dreams as the Red Devils have been pleading for his return ever since he left for Los Blancos.
And their wish is more likely to happen now, than ever before, as Real Madrid are on poor form which has led to the fans and media criticising them.
The factors which have led to this hostile atmosphere is the recent 2-1 defeat in the El Classico and the scare in Champions League after they qualified for the next round by the skin of their teeth against Schalke.
So United fans fancy their chances in the Tavern if they are able to offer him a contract that he can’t refuse.
But before the Red Devils can offer him the reported £14m figure a year, they will have meet Real Madrid’s asking price, which is in the region of £80m!
