Mazzarri already planning to axe Watford forward

According to The Sun, Watford’s young forward Jerome Sinclair could be set for a loan move to Brentford with our resident Hornets fans here in the Transfer Tavern disappointed they haven’t seen more of him so far.

Sinclair joined the Vicarage Road club from Liverpool in a bid to earn more first-team football, though so far he has not been able to achieve that.

Now, it looks as though he will have to drop down a level to the Championship if he wants to play regularly.

The Hornets currently have Troy Deeney, Odion Ighalo and Isaac Success above Sinclair in the pecking order for the striking positions and manager Walter Mazzarri does not appear to see him in his plans this season.

It’s left our Watford fans here by the bar feeling a bit down with the potential they thought the former Liverpool man had.

He was the Reds’ youngest ever player back in 2012, though has seen his progress stall lately and his time in Hertfordshire has so far been unhappy.
