The Celtic fans here in the Transfer Tavern have been absolutely delighted to see the club handed an emotional award. Just a few days after the progressed into the League Cup final next month (as well as watching Rangers knocked out), their fans have been recognised by the big boys at FIFA.
Indeed, the Bhoys were named as the best fans in the world at a swanky bash in London this week, handed the Fan Award for 2017. As you can imagine, considering the passion with which the green and white cause back their side, this news had gone down an absolute storm.

With Champions League football hopefully now a regular occurrence at Parkhead under the stead of Brendan Rodgers, the Hoops who frequent our venue in their droves seriously hope they can show exactly why they’ve won the award on more European nights.
