Our landlord here at the Transfer Tavern has kept a keen eye on our northern neighbours Celtic in the SPFL this season, as they’ve torn the league apart and look to be running away with the league title.

With that though, Celtic have quite the reputation of selling their best players at a profit to the club – as opposed to retaining and keeping quality players at the club.

The Bhoys have had some great players in recent years, the likes of Van Dijk and Fraser Forster who have both left for the Premier League and Southampton in particular.

It can be hard to keep the players in Scotland with it not being the most competitive league and money isn’t in abundance either.

With that in mind, these TWO Celtic players will surely be men in demand this summer…

MOUSSA DEMBELE

This is a bit of an obvious one but there is no denying that the young French forward will be in high demand this summer.

Celtic will have a tough time keeping hold of the talented young forward as big clubs come calling for him.

STUART ARMSTRONG

The Scottish midfielder has been class for Celtic.

Armstrong could easily have his head turned by potential suitors from England and help his Scotland international chances.

He also wouldn’t be too expensive for a side like Burnley or Brighton to come in and take a punt on him.

He’s talent at a cheap price which will make him high in demand.
