Celtic: Fans praise Marian Shved and suggest he should play more often

Celtic made it 33 consecutive victories in the Scottish Cup after their 3-0 victory over Clyde kept alive their hopes of winning the domestic treble for the fourth season in a row.

Neil Lennon should be very happy with his side, who remain seven points ahead of second in the league, particularly with some of his fringe players who made the most of the opportunity presented to them. As well as Vakoun Issouf Bayo scoring, Marian Shved seemingly put in a display in his few minutes on the pitch that supporters were pleased with.

The 22-year-old has found game time difficult to come by since arriving in Glasgow, making only two substitute appearances prior to Sunday, despite the fact he scored in a Champions League qualifier this campaign.

Shved’s latest outing has now led to questions about why he hasn’t featured much, with some supporters suggesting Lennon should trust him to play more often, as seen in the reactions below.

Play Shved more

Shved is on for 4 minutes. He makes a goal and is denied a stonewall penalty. #UnleashShved

Shved looks to be a player

— Ryan Henderson (@RyanHen39620181) February 9, 2020

Shved looked good, as did bayo.

Shved looked very good for his generous 5 minutes on the park. Plz play him more

Give us more of Shved

— leartlika4 (@leartlika56) February 9, 2020

Job done. Next.

Was class seeing Elyounoussi back, different gravy. Bauer wasn’t actually that bad. Happy with Klimala in really difficult circumstances. Shved looked sharp. Annnnnd there’s a serious player in Bayo, he deserves a chance imo.

Celtic fans, do you think Shved deserves to play more often or do you trust Lennon considering he hasn’t faltered much this season? Let us know what you think in the comments below…
