Newcastle posted a training video on their official Twitter account yesterday and after watching a large passing drill involving the whole squad, the fans were treated to some shooting practice. Yoshinori Muto was one of those who looked sharp and the fans want to see him against Chelsea.

The Magpies have so far only been lucky enough to see their new Japanese international star off the bench and he’s managed to impress in his short time on the pitch already as it was his cross that hit the arm of Sean Morrison to give his side a 96th-minute penalty that Kenedy missed. However, the signs are there that Muto can be a real dangerman for the Geordies and he could have chance to show that against Chelsea.
If he can find the net as clinically at St James Park as he does in training then there’s no reason why Muto can’t be the 20-goal striker that the club have been missing. The supporters believed that Muto was brought into contest that support striker position that Ayoze Perez has been playing over the last few seasons. The Spaniard could be in for a spell on the sidelines given how good Muto’s been looking and it remains to be seen how Muto will link up with Salomon Rondon over the course of a 90-minute match.
