Newcastle fans on Twitter rave over Ki after Burnley win

Newcastle United were once again successful last night, taking their winning run to three games now, even though they failed to pick up three points in any of their opening ten clashes. Rafa Benitez has obviously found the winning formula, and it looks like new summer signing Sung-yeung Ki is an integral part of that formula.

After the game, Ki gave some quotes for the Newcastle United website and the South Korean midfielder was obviously delighted with how the game went. He played a crucial role in helping his side to victory and if he can carry on playing the way he has over the last three Premier League games he’s been involved in against Bournemouth, Watford and Burnley, then it’s fair to say that the Magpies winning run will only continue.

The supporters were in crisis just over a month ago. The fans believed that they were doomed and that relegation was a dead cert. However, the quality, or lack of it, in the Premier League near the bottom has just made things easier for Rafa Benitez as after failing to win ten, they’re still 13th in the table having picked up nine points out of nine. As far as the Geordies are concerned, they just want to see this run continue and will hope Ki can carry on dictating and impressing in the middle of the park.
