Newcastle United suffer injury blow

AaronsNewcastle United have been dealt a blow concerning winger Rolando Aarons after he sustained an injury in training.

Fans of the north-east club are getting even more frustrated with their season on and off the field this has been noted in the Transfer Tavern as sales of Newcastle Brown Ale have rocketed over the recent weeks.

It has been reported by the Chronicle that Aarons was injured in a training ground incident on Friday and will be out of action for a number of weeks. The 19 year old has appeared four times this season for Newcastle and he made only one appearance in the league last season thanks to a hamstring injury.

Manager Steve McClaren is an admirer of Aarons and commented on the player saying:

“I want him to mature very quickly because he is the kind of player I like in my team. He excites me and he excites the fans. He gets people off their seats because he’s got the pace and the power, he wants to work.”

However the injury to Aarons is another blow to McClaren’s side who are in the relegation zone of the Premier League with only seven points from their eleven games. Their only victory came in against Norwich where they won 6-2 but they followed that by losing to local rivals Sunderland in the Tyne-Wear derby.

Newcastle fans, how much will this affect your chances in the coming matches? Let us know in the comments below!
