Norwich City fans praised the young striker Adam Idah after the teenager made his senior debut for the Canaries on Tuesday night.
The 18-year-old started and finished the Norfolk side’s 1-0 loss to League Two minnows Crawley Town. However, Idah was said to be ‘the most disappointed lad’ after he deflected Beryly Lubala’s strike into his own net (via The 42).
The Irishman was one of 11 changes made by manager Daniel Farke for Tuesday’s fixture as he along with four other players made their debut for the Norfolk side (via The Pink Un).
Idah’s form for the Norwich under-23s has seen the 18-year-old be called up for Ireland under-21’s squad for their European Championship qualifiers in September (via Norwich City).
The Norfolk faithful seemed chuffed with the first senior appearance of the youngster and took to Twitter to praise him for his efforts.
