Norwich City have picked up the LMA performance of the week award for the side’s 3-1 win at home to Newcastle United.
The Canaries were in rampant mood as they easily saw off Steve Bruce’s side thanks to a hat-trick from Teemu Pukki.
The Finland international’s trio of goals was the first hat-trick scored by a Norwich player in the Premier League since Efon Ekoku way back in 1994.
The Norfolk side’s attacking game proved flawless as they had 15 shots on goal, as well as 63% possession. Daniel Farke side’s dominated so much they had almost double the number of passes that Newcastle United had, 603 to 336.
Norwich’s next game comes in the form of Frank Lampard’s Chelsea, who travel to Carrow Road later today yet to win a game under their new manager.
The news excited the Carrow Road faithful, who took to Twitter to react to the award.
