Norwich City fans congratulated and praised Teemu Pukki after he won the PFA Player of the Month award for August.
The Finn scored five goals and assisted one in four games to finish the month as the second-highest scorer in August of his debut season in the English top flight (via Transfermarkt).
His best performance of the month was arguably in the side’s 3-1 win over Steve Bruce’s Newcastle United in the second game of the campaign.
The Finland international scored a hat-trick, becoming the first Norwich City player to do so in a Premier League game since Efan Ekoku in 1994.
Despite Pukki’s best efforts, the Norfolk side have been faltering since their win against Newcastle, losing their last two games against Chelsea and West Ham United.
However, that didn’t dampen the mood of the Carrow Road faithful, who took to Twitter to congratulate and praise their star striker.
