Norwich City fans were giving Todd Cantwell’s strike against Manchester City their vote as the club’s goal of the month for September.

The youngster scored a brilliant counter-attacking goal, featuring Marco Stiepermann and Teemu Pukki, to put the Canaries 2-0 up in their encounter against the defending champions (via BBC).
However, since the win over the Citizens, Norwich have been in free fall, losing three Premier League games on the bounce against West Ham United, Crystal Palace and Aston Villa (via WhoScored).
The Norfolk side have also struggled to score since the game against Pep Guardiola’s side, scoring just once in the last three games.
After the damaging defeats, Norwich sit in the relegation zone on just six points from eight games (via Premier League).
Despite the recent results in the league, the fans still took to Twitter as they gave the 21-year-old Cantwell their vote for goal of the month.
