Norwich City fans have been left feeling confused after Alan Shearer picked his Premier League team of the week following the fifth round of matches in the top flight.
The former Newcastle United man picked both Emiliano Buendia and Jamal Lewis as two of his 11, however, some of the Canaries faithful think there should be far more in the side (via Twitter).
Daniel Farke’s side were in stunning form last Saturday as they beat the reigning Premier League champions Manchester City 3-2 in a pulsating encounter (via BBC).
The Norfolk side raced into a 2-0 lead in just under 30 minutes thanks to goals from Kenny McLean and Todd Cantwell.
Sergio Aguero equalised before half-time, however, Teemu Pukki ensured victory with a third Norwich goal just minutes into the second half.
It seems due to the performance, many Norwich fans expected far more of their players to feature in Shearer’s XI as they took to Twitter to share their grievances.
Here is a selection of tweets from the Carrow Road faithful:
No Byram, no party.
