Norwich City: Fans worried after Timm Klose gets injured 27 minutes into return to action

Norwich City fans reacted worriedly after Timm Klose’s return to action was cut to just 27 minutes last night.

The Swiss defender went off injured during the Canaries’ 1-0 loss away to Crawley Town in the second round of the Carabao Cup.

Klose had only recently returned from a hip flexor injury that has seen him miss the opening three Premier League games of the season.

It was revealed by manager Daniel Farke after the game that the defender had suffered a knee ligament injury, and he could be out for the remainder of the season.

Tuesday evening’s game also saw the return of Christoph Zimmermann, who returned following surgery on a knee injury in early July.

The Norfolk side’s defence has been a worry this season, as they’ve conceded eight goals in their first three games back in the top-flight.

Fans were understandably frustrated with the news, and took to Twitter to react.
