With little over a month to go before transfer deadline day Arsenal fans at the Tavern are hoping that Arsene Wenger secures more signings.
The Gunners have already signed Alexandre Lacazette from Lyon in a club record deal however with the speculation over Alexis Sanchez’ future at the club Wenger may need to find a replacement.
Arsenal fans at the Tavern admit that it may be harder to poach the world’s best when all they can offer is Europa League football although that didn’t stop them signing Lacazette.
Although, if Arsenal want to compete for the title this season they will need to strengthen their squad further, not just rely on their new number 9.
With that in mind let’s take a look at TWO players Arsenal should sign before the transfer window shuts.
Thomas Lemar

Arsene Wenger loves a Frenchman! Especially a promising young starlet who has played for Monaco, Thierry Henry being the best example. The Guadeloupe born French international is just 21 years of age and shined in Monaco’s journey to the Ligue 1 title last season which saw the side topple PSG.
The Frenchman may be a good replacement for Alexis Sanchez, but the Telegraph report that Lemar will set the Gunners back at least £45m. Arsenal fans are hoping that he and Lacazette will form a perfect partnership.
Riyad Mahrez

Mahrez has been rumoured to move away from Leicester since the Foxes won the title back in 2016 and although he didn’t have a stellar year with Leicester he still stood out from the rest of the squad.
The tricky Algerian has been linked with a move to Roma as the Italian side hope to replace Mohammed Salah but Arsenal should consider jumping into the equation.
However, according to the Daily Mail Leicester are still holding out for around £50m but the landlord at the Tavern feels that price is not merited due to his inconsistency this season.
