Not long to go: The 2 players that West Ham should sign before time runs out

West Ham fans in the Transfer Tavern are thrilled over the business their side have conducted this summer.

The Hammers have seen the likes of Javier Hernandez, Joe Hart and Marko Arnautović join the club and the foreseeable future looks bright for the West London club.

With that said, the intent in the window was needed after a mediocre season last time around and with boss Slaven Bilic managing to regain his position as the leader of West Ham, our landlord believes that a big transfer window was needed alongside a strong start to the season is needed to waive off the early season pressure that may be on him.

With that said, it is a common view from all in the Tavern that Bilic was let down by a lot of his senior players last season so he may be better off using the remaining month of the transfer window to sign a few players, in order to boost his squad even further.

This issue has sparked a real debate among the regular Hammers in the Tavern and they have outlined the two players West Ham should sign before the window slams shut.

Let’s take a look at their thoughts here…

Jack Wilshere

Our landlord has heard a lot of garbage said about Wilshere but he believes that at the end of the day, the Arsenal man is still a quality Premier League midfielder who could make the difference at a club if given a certain length of time.

Wilshere is in the final year of his contract at Arsenal and whilst the West Ham fans in the Tavern love Mark Noble, they do believe Wilshere will be an upgrade on their skipper.

Moussa Dembele

With new signing, Javier Hernandez more accustomed to making an impact from the bench – our landlord feels that Slaven Bilic should go all out for another striker in the form of Celtic’s Dembele.

The Hammers fans are not arguing with our landlord and they feel the more options they have up front, the stronger they will be and they would love to see the Frenchman strut out at the London Stadium next season.
