Nottingham Forest fans have reacted to the club’s 1-0 win over Blackburn Rovers, with one supporter even comparing Ryan Yates to Manchester City’s Kevin de Bruyne.
Chris Hughton’s side have not started the season well having had four defeats in the opening four games and even after Saturday’s result still sit in 20th place.
With pressure firmly mounting on the East Midlands side over their poor start to the campaign, Hughton managed to turn things around with an impressive victory against Blackburn.
Dominating at Ewood Park for the majority of the Championship tie, Joe Lolley’s goal in the 90th minute proved to be the winner.
Despite Lolley’s goal, the key performer in the tie against Blackburn was undoubtedly Yates, who produced a string of impressive statistics, so impressive in fact that one fan couldn’t resist a rather lofty comparison.
