Online Exclusive: ESPN’s Wembley FC Documentary ‘Dream. On.’

Premiering in the UK on ESPN, ‘Dream. On.’ The Journey of Wembley FC will bring to life the team’s journey and is set to raise the profile of grassroots football in the UK.

Wembley FC, a non-league football team that plays eight leagues below the top flight, announced it has assembled a group of ex-international players including genuine former Arsenal Football Club legends David Seaman, Ray Parlour and Martin Keown as well as Graeme Le Saux, Claudio Caniggia (Argentina) and Brian McBride (U.S.A.) to help them go as far as they can in next season’s FA Cup.

The signings by Wembley FC were secured with the support of its sponsor Budweiser, the lead partner of The FA Cup, which earlier in the year recruited former England manager Terry Venables as the club’s Technical Advisor.

Aston Villa legend signs for Wembley!
This weekend our FA Cup journey continues as we travel to Uxbridge for a Middlesex derby in the Preliminarily Round after our 3-2 win over Langford.  We’re lucky enough to have the ESPN crew there again covering the game and our sponsors, Budweiser, streaming the game as well.
We’re also pleased to announce the signing of another legend who will join Terry Venables, Graeme Le Saux, Claudio Caniggia, Ray Parlour and Martin Keown as part of the squad on Sunday.  Ex Aston Villa centre back, Ugo Ehiogu will be available for selection and bolster our defensive rearguard.  We’d like to give him a warm welcome to the club.

Hopefully you can make the short trip to come and roar on the Lions and our legends.  If not, watch the game live on ESPN from 2.15pm this Sunday and throughwww.facebook.com/budweiseruk and www.budunited.com

Well now, when it comes to football, one man has for many years been the most noticeable, the most controversial, and occasionally the most successful blogger this country has ever produced. His pithy words and abrasive style make him as famous off the pitch as he is on it. This man is Escapini. "I love football. Football she's a cruel mistress. She's, she's more than a mistress. She's a wife, she's a mother, she's a daughter, she's an errant child. She's a… she's a… she can make you laugh, she make you cry. She can bring tears me eyes. She can bring blood to me shoulders. She can bring a kettle to the boil." "Cause football is about nothing, unless it's about something and what it is about, is football."
