The Celtic fans in the Transfer Tavern were absolutely delighted with last night’s win over Dundee in the Betfred Cup.
Indeed, the Bhoys in the bar watched on in joy as Brendan Rodgers marched through into the semi-finals and many of our punters clad in green and white believe it was a perfect way of warming up for Saturday’s Old Firm.
The Hoops travel to Ibrox early Saturday and one man who looks fired up for the occasion is James Forrest. Not always the most popular Celtic star, the Scotland international bagged a brace last night against Neil McCann’s men and could run riot against an injury-stricken Gers backline.
Though he faces some competition from the likes of Patrick Roberts, the drinkers in our bar are calling for Forrest’s inclusion at Ibrox this weekend, as well as those online.
