‘Overpriced snob’, ‘Sane surpassed him’ - Man City fans on Twitter really don’t to sign Neymar

The Manchester City fans in the Transfer Tavern have been responding to rumours surrounding 26-year-old Brazilian megastar, Neymar, who’s valued at £162 million by Transfermarkt. According to Mundo Deportivo, City are one of the possible destinations for the forward and his entourage are refusing to rule out a move to The Etihad. However, The Citizens don’t seem too happy about the links.

Manchester City are a force to be reckoned with in the footballing world. The club has lost just four games this season as they canter towards to the Premier League title and continue to go strong in the Champions League. Pep Guardiola’s side won the League Cup back in February, blitzing Arsenal 3-0 in the final, and now the Mancunian juggernaut is looking to add more silverware this season.

But now reports are linking the world’s most expensive ever player to Manchester it could become a whole different game for The Etihad faithful. The club has previously been accused of buying success and the signing of Neymar would only confirm that. The Brazilian has established himself as one of the best players of the current generation at both club and international level. Although currently injured, Neymar has been tearing French defences apart in Ligue 1 and looks set to dazzle fans all over the world in the summer’s World Cup in Russia. City fans will no doubt be following Neymar in the next few months as they could be looking at their club’s next star.
