Pedro Caixinha simply must axe these 2 Rangers players for the SPFL run-in

A new era dawns at Rangers, after the arrival of Pedro Caixinha at the club.

Our landlord here at the Transfer Tavern still isn’t too sure what happened with the Warburton situation, but now it’s time for a change at Ibrox.

They may well pretty much be out of the title race with the massive gap between them and Celtic, but the Gers can fight for a spot in the Europa League and claim second.

On his arrival to Scotland ,not many people have heard of Caixinha, but he comes with a decent track record in strange leagues so perhaps he could be what’s needed to mix things up a little for Rangers.

His first job will be to determine who he should drop from the side and who he should play in order to increase his side’s chances of Europa League football next season.

With that in mind, our landlord thinks Caixinha simply must axe these TWO Rangers stars for the Scottish Premier League run-in….

WES FODERINGHAM

This may divide the Rangers punters here at the Tavern but despite his loyalty and how well he has done in the past few seasons, this year he really hasn’t been at the races.

With a young and talented Jak Alnwick waiting on the sidelines, he surely deserves a chance to start in the league and show the new gaffer why he’s first choice material.

He showed great promise and talent at Newcastle and has moved in order to become a number one and he deserves that chance.

MARTYN WAGHORN

Waghorn was the hero as the Gers made their rise back to the SPFL but since then he’s just not looked up to the standard needed to try and help his side compete with Celtic.

He misses a number of vital chances that could of helped Rangers along the way.

He may well see himself axed under the new gaffer and perhaps a change is needed to change Rangers’ fortunes in front of goal.
