The Tottenham supporters in the Transfer Tavern are still eagerly awaiting their first signing of the summer window.
Despite announcing a partnership with Nike, our resident Spurs fans are still patiently waiting for their first summer arrival. Over the duration of previous weeks, Spurs have been linked with several targets such as Max Meyer, Suso, Joel Veltman but as of yet, they haven’t finalised any deals.
Considering that Spurs have mounted fierce challenges for the title these past two seasons, it is entirely plausible that they’ll emulate that quest for league glory for a third successive season.
Thus, it is very likely that Tottenham will be very active in the transfer window.
While much of the attention is quite rightly focused on possible incomings at White Hart Lane Wembley, it’s difficult to ignore the possibility of departures too.
Our landlord has decided to look at two players who could potentially leave Tottenham this Summer.
Dele Alli

Tottenham’s golden boy, Alli has certainly earned his status as one of England’s most exciting prospects over the duration of these past two seasons.
Having set the league alight following his transfer from League 1 outfit, MK Dons, Alli is currently recognised as one of Tottenham’s most important players. In 96 appearances for the club, the 21-year-old has scored 32 goals – a ratio of a goal every three games.
Last season, in particular, was impressive for the midfielder who scored 22 goals in all competitions for Spurs. He’s even established himself as a recognised England international, earning 19 caps during his time with Tottenham.
However, the Spurs star failed to dismiss a departure from the club at the end of last season.
Additionally, Don Balon report that Conte is preparing a £88M move for Alli – which could be one of the most contentious transfers in recent history. Alli is a gifted player and one that Spurs will be eager to hold onto for the foreseeable future.
Christian Eriksen

The former Ajax midfielder has been an indispensable figure for Spurs since his arrival in the Summer of 2013. Renowned for his impressive creativity and vision, Eriksen has been a mainstay in the Spurs side since his arrival from the Netherlands.
The Danish international has scored a creditable tally of 42 goals in 179 appearances – illustrating how vital he has been to Spurs’ quest for domestic glory over the course of these past few years.
At the age of just 25, he’s already vastly experienced with Denmark having earned 69 caps, scoring 14 goals in the process.
However, the Danish midfielder has reportedly interested Barcelona who is contemplating making a summer move for the Spurs star. His importance to the Tottenham side cannot be stressed sufficiently, and Potch will be incredibly eager that Spurs manage to negate the threat of any team looking to acquire Eriksen.
