Though there remains a very realistic chance Arsenal will miss out on the Champions League this season, the recent run of good form has at least proved promising.
The Gunners are seemingly well embarked on their annual end of season run, one that usually sees them secure Champions League football, though the strength of the other teams in the Premier League is far greater this year.
While our north London locals here in the Transfer Tavern are reserving judgement until the end of the season (with an FA Cup final coming up), they have been delighted to read reports that the club were already making moves in the transfer market.
Sky Sports claimed the Gooners had secured the signing of Schalke defender Sead Kolasinac on a free transfer, much to the delight of the fans propping up our bar.
With that in mind, here’s a closer look at how Twitter reacted.

Kolasinac is quick, a good tackler and has a great final ball. A great upgrade at LB to Nacho, who seems better suited in a defensive three.
