Celtic fans in the Transfer Tavern will be looking for their side to strengthen this summer as they prepare to go up against a new-look Rangers next season.
Celtic’s Old Firm rivals have been busy making a number of changes since Steven Gerrard was named the new chief and the Bhoys will want to ensure they continue to dominate Scottish football despite his arrival.
However, a recent report suggests that they may be forced to appoint a new manager of their own this summer as Brendan Rodgers has been touted with possible moves back to the Premier League.
Leicester City have been the latest in a list of teams to be considering a move for the Northern Irishman, although the Hoops do not have any concerns according to the Glasgow Evening Times.
According to the report, the Parkhead side have no fear that their manager is considering a move elsewhere and believe he is content with his current role at Celtic Park.
Landlord’s Verdict
The Celtic fans in the Tavern will be keen to keep Rodgers at the club for as long as they possibly can as he has been hugely successful during his time at Paradise thus far.
Rodgers, who arrived in Glasgow in 2016, has won six trophies since taking charge of the Hoops which have included back-to-back Trebles, as well as an unbeaten season in his first full campaign in charge of the Bhoys.
