Liverpool: Fans blast Divock Origi during Midtjylland clash

Many Liverpool fans have flocked to Twitter to slam Divock Origi, who started the Reds’ final UEFA Champions League group stage game of the 2020/21 campaign versus Midtjylland this evening.
Origi had played in just five games for the Reds in all competitions this term before this game at MCH Arena, with the Belgium international not even making the squad for Liverpool’s 4-0 Premier League win over Wolverhampton Wanderers this past weekend and Reds boss Jurgen Klopp confirming his absence was not due to fitness, per James Pearce.
Now, his return to the starting XI for this Champions League fixture has got many fans of the Merseyside club talking.
So, what did these Liverpool fans have to say about Origi?
Some Reds supporters indicated that they were far from excited to see the £14.4m-rated attacker’s name in their starting XI for this fixture while others were quick to criticise Origi’s performance versus Midtjylland.
Origi must decide whether he is a forward or a midfielder. His positioning is really bad. #MIDLIV #UEFAChampionsLeague
